Visually the location of the murder scene on Lake Herman Road, where Zodiac claimed his first known victims, looks similar to an area along the Highway of Tears in British Columbia, Canada, where some of the first victims of the BC Serial Killer were found 40 years ago. Some bodies were found right near the curve in Highway 97.
Henning Lagies, the suspect, built and co-owned a home in the same area some of the first victim's were found, as shown on the map below. Several victims and the family home were all in this vicinity.
Continue up the Highway of Tears to find several victims located near "Herman Lake", including Monica Ingas who disappeared almost the exact same date, 6 years after the Zodiac killings at Lake Herman Road in California. The victims in California were killed on a gravel parking area, while Monica was found in a gravel pit...
Coincidentally, Henning also goes by the name "Hermann".
