According to details I found on the description of a car possibly associated with the first known Zodiac killings near Lake Herman, California, it appears that Zodiac and the Highway of Tears killer may have driven the same type of vehicle. I have noted that the BC suspect always drove Chevy or GMC vans, thus documenting that he stays with the same type of vehicle and has an obvious liking to the Chevrolet.
After sifting through hundreds of images on the internet, it appears that the composite of the car related in the early "Highway of Tears", killings, particularly in relation to the murder of Colleen McMillan whose body was later found near the suspect's family home in 100 Mile House (more geographically 108 Mile Ranch), could match a 1964 Chevrolet Impala.

The composite of the BC car clearly shows a blurred representation of whether the car is two door or four door. I am looking at the overall shape of the side windows from front to back as well, I have also noted that the car signature on the side of the car is behind the wheel well and not in front as found in later models.
Considering the shape of the 1974 composite and the possibility that the killer drove over 2,000 miles to California and back as well as driving that same distance up Highway of Tears to the Herman Lake Region in BC and back, the composite is representative of a vehicle that could be matched to both the BC Suspect and the Zodiac Killer.
Although I have been unable to find actual documentation of the color of the car in the BC composite, it appears that it must have been a light colored car to not be shaded in more darkly, which is also matches the car suspected in the Zodiac seen near Herman Lake, California.
According to the details that I found, witnesses have described the car that Zodiac may have been driving was also a light colored Chevrolet Impala.

As early as 9:00 pm on Friday, December 20, 1968, a light-colored hardtop four-door, possibly a Chevrolet Impala, was seen parked near the gated entrance to the pumping station off Lake Herman Road just east of Lake Herman. The same car was also seen there at about 10:00 by a different witness. Between these two sightings, a young man and his girlfriend were parked in the same spot when a car heading west toward Vallejoslowed to a stop several yards past their car, then began to slowly back up toward them. The car gave them both such a bad feeling that they immediately pulled out of the gravelly area and drove off toward Benicia. The other car followed them until the first exit, which they took, watching the stranger continue east on Lake Herman Road.
At 11:10 pm, David Arthur Faraday and Betty Lou Jensen were parked in the same place when they were shot to death near Faraday's brown Rambler.
